Hello all,
First of all, I would like to thank you, the GNOME Engagement team, for
your efforts for GNOME. I have been mainly contributing translations to
GNOME so far, and I'll also try to contribute more by presenting GNOME to
new people during events etc.
We have been given a time slot in Akademik Bilişim Konferansı (a Turkish
conference mainly for academia)[0] on 8th of Feb. I (Muhammet Kara) and
another local GNOME community member (Gökhan Gurbetoğlu) will talk about
Localization of Free Software, and localization of GNOME in particular. We
hope to present GNOME to university students and academics, and at least
recruit some new translators for our team. :) ( I also wish to increase the
number of our reviewers so that I can pass coordination to one of them
later. :) )
