Neither have I, and I think we indeed need someone with experience with that to give us info, but in the meantime we can read https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Matching_Gifts Side note: volunteer time can also be matched by employers, The employee tells them how much time they spent working as a volunteer for an organisation and the company makes a money donation equivalent to a salary for that time. We've had at least one person doing that for the last two GUADEC.
