We're working through the list. If you don't want to see the sausage factory, best avert your eyes... > I am sorry, but this souds like too greedy to get Mozilla funds. What's greedy about: 1) making a list of technologies which are used by Mozilla 2) discussing how the money would help make better software that Mozilla can use 3) then writing this all in a coherent manner, as a proposal for this particular project. We're at 1), and we're doing it in the open. I think this should be seen as a positive. Furthermore, making that list would require a great understanding of both Mozilla's projects and GNOME's. This isn't something easy, and I'm glad that Sahil went through a first pass. > I am Gnome user and I was contributing to Gnome since 2007. > I would like to help as a mozillian if you can clearly mention why > Mozilla should sponsor Gnome project. Because Mozilla products (Firefox in particular) use a lot of GNOME technologies, especially when running Linux. > If I am not wrong, there was a gnome prooject that funded by Mozilla. One, about a11y, which we merged into a campaign of ours: https://www.gnome.org/news/2013/02/call-for-bids-for-gnome-accessibility-work/ You can see the results of that campaign at: http://blogs.igalia.com/apuentes/2013/09/04/15/ <snip> Cheers _______________________________________________ engagement-list mailing list engagement-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/engagement-list
