Thanks for the feedback everyone. About the debian logo, initially I was against this because debian won't ship with GNOME 3.16 in Spring 2015. But if you really want, I can add it.. Related to the music, feel free to come with links to alternative music under a more permissive license. It has to fit with the video but I'll gladly upload a test video with your suggestion as background music.

I attached a subtitle for this video, so that other people could translate it into their own language helping promoting GNOME 3.16.

We have a translation module setup for translating subtitles of GNOME 3.16 here:

But thanks for the effort!

Maybe a little something about the Foursquare integration in Maps?

The video is currently not covering Taquin, Maps, Music, Evince, Photos, Videos & Characters. The current content were chosen based on what would match into the main theme of this release video: "streamlined theming & improved development experience". The content were also chosen partly based on what wasn't featured release. And finally chosen partly based on the alignment of the stars and /dev/random.

I remember we talked about covering Maps in the release video, but when I sat down to revise the script, I chose not to for the reasons above.

That said, considering the amount of projects not covered by this video, I think it would make sense to add an animation in the end, encouraging viewers to read the release notes for more awesome improvements to GNOME apps this cycle.
