Yes. That's way faster tapping than I've done. I'm going to have to try tapping that quickly just to keep up. ;-) But I'm not so concerned about being able to tap slowly. Just that I want to see the behaviour and how the trajectory planner handles hand turning the spindle and have the Z axis track. Now seeing the waveforms from the velocity out over the MESA board I can see why the Z axis would have that start/stop feel. John
