The only oscilloscope I have these days is a Bitscope - a dual channel
100 MHz sampling digital scope in a little aluminium box. Display is
on
the monitor of my linux box, so plenty large enough. It did admittedly
cost A$1,000 or so. I don't know what they are now, or what the specs
for
the current model might be.

It has served me well so far. I am paranoid about using x10
probes when into power circuits, as the front end is easy to blow up,
given the voltage limits on the BNC sockets.
