The original never had Z axis pulley slipping issues as the clamping onto the square section was a bit more robust. See attached photo. The best I could get with the 60V power supply, Gecko and 1200 oz-in motor was 24 ipm. Couldn't use this setup for the servo because the motor shaft diameter was so much larger that it wouldn't fit in the small pulley. Is it only me or is LinuxCNC the easy part and the mechanicals the harder part? John
