Speakon make good connectors for steppers and servos too.
The rating is 40A @ 250V AC,with 2, 4 or 8 poles, so can run huge
steppers and all but very high voltage servos.
(I actually contacted Neutrik to ask about this, they said that the
connectors were capable and the rest was the responsibility of the
system designer. I can forward the actual email if anyone is
interested)

Here is the power supply / driver box for my lathe. PowerCON mains
input and 2 x SpeakON outputs to the X and Z servo motors.
