My rpi4 has a problem. No PID's in this config. Home it, goto MDI and enter
G1f5z2 G1f5z-2 g1f5z2 is a continuous but noisy move of 4" in and back out. 5ips is close the the z self resonant frequency as neither motor has a damper. Set jog up to 25 ips, well above resonant frequency, motion is relatively quiet but still stutters. Ditto for its max of 66 ips. Set jog to about 5", stand on z or x keys on the keyboard, roughly same speed, stutters. Move wireless receivers from about 18" away to 2" away. No change in the stutter, which is always there. Punch and activate dials, runs as smooth as I can turn them. I have to say that the usb is being interfered with, but I can't find a place to put a halscope probe, It seems its all hidden in axis. Anybody got an idea what to poke at find this? I did catch it scrolling the mdi history while it was mid-stutter. Once. I went around the garage and turned off all the other mice and keyboards.
