In particular, I'm not sold in sliding it up against the jaws for a fixed stop so I might put a stop rod on the bottom that clears even the 8" 4 jaw and stops against the spindle houseing. That would remove the need for multiple tool tables. I'll think of something. I rather like the piece of pcb as the copper isn't hard enough to damage a tools edge if the contact is too energetic. The glass substrate is however... Storage for the widget could be a problem as the Z motor likes to vibrate stuff off the keyboard table despite a retainer edge. Needs a smaller less violent motor. That 1600 oz in serious overkill.
