Gene - Xray film exposed to light and processed makes for a very heavy filter. Perhaps a single dental xray would provide enough material. Also if you know anyone who processes there own 35mm. Pan X or Plus X and maybe even Tri-X B&W film - the leader area will be fully blacked out. Pan X would be the finest grain but Plus X wasn't far behind. Greg
