You didn't use near big enough a font for the WAIT Andy. ;-) But I got
some at Lowes for about $14 for a pair, rated 16 amps, and while I'll
have to make an open end wrench to properly tighten them as none of mine
are thin enough to slip between the body and the back of the panel to
tighten the second nut after putting the front nut on about 1/2 a thread
of the stem beyond the nut. All metal, and push a little harder than I
wanted, but the front button has no sharp edges so is comfortable to
push. Built like a tank, they will certainly outlast whichever of my
boys gets it in the will I haven't written yet. 1/4" brass spade lugs
might be fresh enough I can solder the wires to them. Maybe.

The doorbell buttons I went to look at? All were 2 terminal, AND
illuminated. I would have had to demolish or burn out the builtin light
bulb that was across the 2 terminals. That idea just didn't taste right
at all. Besides, these tanks were about $2 each cheaper.

I'll go make the wrench after dinner. If the honeydo's don't wipe me out.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
