Hello all, I am trying to compile some HAL components for PathPilot. I though the best thing to do would be to compile them on LCNC 2.5.0 running on Ubuntu 10.04 with 2.6.32-122-rtai since that appears to match what PathPilot is running on, and them transfer them over to PathPilot.
I have installed LCNC 2.5.0 from one of the old images just fine. The problem is I cannot seem to install linuxcnc-dev, which I need to compile the HAL components, correct? I have tried saying sudo apt-get install linuxcnc-dev sudo apt-get install emc-dev sudo apt-get install emc2-dev all to no avail. They get right back to me and say they cannot find the package. I also tried installing the dev packages from Synaptic, but can't fine them there either. I am a Linux noob so I have a feeling I missing something simple, any pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
