Got my HMDI to DVI+audio splitter box from China yesterday, far earlier than
the seller said. Would've tried it out on a DVI monitor except I had to crawl
around under a house for a few hours helping to install some heating ductwork.
Will do that tomorrow and try various other systems besides the Android
4.whatever Orange Pi provides.
As to why I ordered right from China, I decided I'd rather wait and get free
shipping than pay a 300% markup from a US seller that would likely be ordering
from China anyway and take just as long or longer.

I wound up sending the o-pi to another fellow for the price of an if it
fits box, and he hooked it up to a 4k capable monitor and it worked.
Lesson learned about ali, again. There will not be a 3rd time.
