Exactly the results I had, but I haven't thried to adjust them either.  
Back to the extended tubing handles on the one I got from the shack I 
guess. I am not about to put close to $500 in the Harwin tool. I have 
soldered them 10 or so times in the past, perhaps this tool will make 
them stay put long enough to finish with a fine tc tip and some silver 
content solder. I even have some of the rhos stuff, but you have to run 
the iron temp up a ways, cleaning and retinning the tip for every joint. 
Thats a right pain in the ass for a guy thats had a hot iron in one hand 
since 1948.
