My jumpers won't be any longer that yours, at 8". If I can find a decent ground, I'll let the ringing I see on both ends of the wire tell me if it needs damping. I have a gighertz sampling scope, and know what substrait diode conduction looks like, and that it is not a desirable thing. I also have some braid to tie board grounds together. That can clean up really big ringing messes quite well. WTH? I just picked it up to check the bolt holes & they are all etched clear, so I'll have to paste it on the usb socket frames.
