If you swap out the knurlPerDia definition line with the following two lines, 
it will calculate the number of knurls to cut from workpieceDia:

#<knurlPerInch> = 12
#<knurlPerDia> = ROUND[[#<workpieceDia> * 3.14159 * #<knurlPerInch>]]
