I am more excited about the possibility of having numerous cnc
machines, each doing some lengthy job (for example, 3d printer doing a
20+ hour print) and I can use one device for all GUIs (not sure if
several windows simultaneously will be available, but switching
between them to have one at a time is already possible, for example,
start printing a long job and then switch to my router and make some
chips with it).
And one more thing that just occured to me - if the hardware that runs
the Machinekit, is actually mounted in a cabinet and is ran headless,
it means that it will not be used for web browsing, there will be no
CAM app installed and there will be no other 18 things done with it,
which means that it should be more stable and would require the
reinstall (and time wasted on restoring configs etc) less frequently -
I do not know, how do I manage to mess my PCs up when I use them.
BTW no need for tethering, it is done over the [wireless] network.
