Seems to be discontinued, but it does look like it screws on to a
standard spindle nose.

I think that a problem with any such system is in getting a tight
enough clamping force using only the spindle motor or Z-axis drive.

I can envisage a system that presented itself to some sort of
tightening/loosening fixture.

A modification of the Kwik-Switch system to suit the ER20 taper might
be possible. (you would need to use solid collets with tabs)
