This is a request for assistance from those who understand the code structure of LinuxCNC better than I do, and arises from some (historic) frustration trying to set MIN_FERROR & FERROR parms to achieve best results.
Review of 'initraj.cc' parms that are available (but not set by PnCConf) - DEFAULT_ACCELERATION & MAX_ACCELERATION - soon led to improved tuning of (MIN_)FERROR, but the objective is to understand the interaction between [AXIS] & [TRAJ] parms, and code defaults if not set explicitly (since the default settings require much bigger FERROR values. Having found references to EMC_TRAJ_SET_ACCELERATION & EMC_TRAJ_SET_MAXACCELERATION in 'emc_nml.hh', I expected to find the variables where these are declared and used in one of the 'motion' modules. Perhaps one of you proficient in LinuxCNC code will kindly point me to the appropriate .h and .c modules. Similarly for RCS_CMD_MSG which code I did not locate in the 'rcs' tree, but perhaps I've been staring at LinuxCNC git too long. It's evidently in one of the 'include' declarations I have not examined!
