I visited a store the other day that sold impulse sealer parts, and was
intrigued to find that the Teflon strips were readily available in strip
form. In reels of various widths. The finish is woven mat like, and quite
slippery to the touch. The best part is that it comes with a peel and stick
adhesive backing. It's obviously heat resistant, but I'm not sure how it
would stand up to liquid lubricants. I think it could be of use as a slide
coating where there is no point loading.
