I can't testify about that particular board, Joe, other than to say that the simialr but fanless D525MW running at 1.6Ghz is definitely a winner. That is, or was sold as a complete box with a 250Gb drive and a dvd writer, with a skype headset, econoline keyboard & mouse for around 270 USD including shipping at: <http://www.directron.com/extremevalue.html> The link is still valid, I'm looking at it now. I have 2 of them, and so far, they Just Work(TM) With latency_test figures low enough I run a 23 u-sec base_thread and may run my stepper systems half a day before getting an unexpected realtime delay error. The on-board video doesn't seem to be a problem. Turn off hyperthreading in the bios, install from the LinuxCNC cd, and add "isolcpus=1" in the grub.cnf kernel load line and it is ready to rock and roll.
