Google "c axis lathe" and you'll get plenty of examples. The convention for identifying axes on a CNC lathe is X perpendicular to spindle centerline, Z along spindle centerline, so C is spindle rotation. A-axis would be the rotation of a live tool for drilling into the side of your work (rotation about X).
