I purchased a 5410 cnc-ready with 8760 driver box . and try to make the configuration by myself , But after so many setting , the machine don't work , in fact the stepper motor don't have any reaction to program ! Here I explain what I did exactly : 1- I buy a PC exactly for Linux 2- Installed the Ubuntu EMC 2 ( without problem ) 3- Make a new configuration by EMC2 Stepconf Wizard ( there I chose the Sherline as default Mill and pass the level , Step by step ) 4- Run this configuration ( it's open without problem and could load the drawing with backplot mode ) 5- After test the drawing , when turn on the machine , stepper motor don't move 6- Cable , connection is OK It's seems the parallel pin is not setup , but I don't know how I could set it !
