Hi Joseph,

I might be able to help you out a bit. When I first started with EMC I 
was using the control box and the quadrature drive, so I know it can be 
done. :)

However, a couple of years ago, I stopped using the box and went with a 
Gecko G540. That means I'll be working from memory but I think I can 
help you over the hump and at least starting on the learning curve.
