Sorry for the off topic, but I'd like to get GLX working on a 10.04 system so I can remote ssh -X LinuxCNC. The PC has an Intel chipset. I am currently using the vesa driver because the i810 driver crashes. The 8.04 i810 driver works fine. I had the idea that maybe I could just put my 8.04 disk in the drive and use Synaptic to install the older driver. Sounds easy, but I haven't been able to find out how to do this. Anyone have any hints or keywords to search? -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA
