nccs has an apt pkg called ncl. That is the one Stuart uses. 
Catia exports APT code as I'm certain other CAD/CAM software dominate
in the aircraft industry do.

Somehow I doubt it; but if they were they would be working to integrate
solid descriptive geometry with APT. Nothing simpler would be esoteric
enough to catch their attention. ;-)
