I was just out checking the hair drier vs hide glue.  A 1000 watter won't 
touch the hide glue.  But in standing around in what I seem to have 
mistakenly called a garage, (no room for the wifes Toyota RAV-4) I did spy 
something better than wood for the jig, I spotted about 2 feet of 4" wide, 
1/2" thick HDPE, and that ought to make a nice jig.  A 6" long piece will 
get checked out tomorrow.  If I mill the pocket carefully enough, I would 
think the hide glue would pop off it easier than from the finished pcb.
