But, I can't really recommend running Axis remotely due to the graphical overhead of the 3D preview window. It certainly works, but there are some indications there is a lot of overhead. It seems like it takes about a MINUTE to bring up the Axis screen remotely, and only a few seconds locally.
Or are you talking about running Axis directly on the remote computer, rather than exporting the X display through ssh -X ? I'm not even sure that is possible.
