Over the past few months I have retrofitted most of a Mori Seiki MVJR 3 Axis CNC mill. I can hardly believe it works considering how little I know when I started this. All the credit belongs to those that have helped me. I have relied heavily on help from people in the forum who have provided troubleshooting and code and help of all kinds to get it together, I never could have done this by myself, I don't have the coding or electronics knowledge to do it.
The one remaining challenge is the tool changer; I think the skills required to do that are considerably above what has been done so far and I realise I am out of my depth to do it in a reasonable period of time. With Christmas coming I chose that instead of buying some gift, if I can find someone willing and able to do it, please hire someone to code the tool changer for the CNC. I have a list of the procedure steps and switches for the magazine and arm. If you think you might be interested or know someone that would please contact me at: [email protected] Best Regards Jon Schmidt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cloud Computing - Latest Buzzword or a Glimpse of the Future?
