It looks like there is a new iov2, thanks Michael. Should I write my changer component to v2 or stick with the old io for now?
I am tending to worry about things such as; I need to make sure my mill spindle is stopped, and in the home position (Z homed) before a change starts. I could link existing components or make new ones to do this, but I also believe motion is disabled during a tool change, so I should not need to worry about the spindle being stopped, right? -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity and more.
