You might try looking at this page under the heading "Using EMC2". http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl There are sub headings for g-code utilities and CAM programs. If you are new to g-code, I think a good place to start is to try to code from scratch using gedit. G-code utilities and CAM can save a lot of time for complex parts, but it is common to need to fix g-code programs from CAM and g-code utlities anyway, so knowing how to code by hand will come in handy (my opinion). -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense.
