Yeh, funny how that works out. What started it this time was seeing the "VMS" mention in Gene's signature block a coupla days ago. I do miss my Vax workstation. About 95% of my system admin duties here at work are on *nix big iron servers, with the rest taking care of some Winders servers and desktops. I do miss the reliability of the old DEC VAX and Alpha machines. The Alpha 8400's were screaming beasts. We had a bunch of them in one of the projects I sys-admin'ed for a few years back. Lovely machines, they were. Mark ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
