I think because that depends on the Power ICs you use, so could be anything at all. Note that it is a unipolar driver, so will only work with 6 or 8 wire motors, and the torque achieved will be less than what you would get driving the same motor bipolar. (looking at a spec sheet for my motors, they have 2.15Nm unipolar and 3Nm bipolar.) I started with a cheap 3-axis controller off of eBay. I now have 4 pre-built controllers from Motion Control products. If I was in the US I would probably have Geckos.
