Lars, As far as I know, there are none. It is mainly an interface for writing your own custom user interface. There are other means of configuring remote interfaces, the advantage of emcrsh is that it is independent of the emc version and OS on which emc is running and does not require the loading of any special environments on the remote system (assuming none are introduced by the environment used to develop the remote system).
If you do not need those features, then there are ways of running the existing user interfaces remotely, both on Linux and non-Linux platforms. Regards, Eric I suppose some client application can connect via "emcrsh" to run a remote mill controller. What client can do that? (Really I am asking how to remote control a mill/EMC2/RTAI system.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
