Apparently, the following dependency is different from emc 2.2.5 to emc
2.2.8:
-libpango1.0-0 (>= 1.20.1)
+libpango1.0-0 (>= 1.20.5)
this difference exists because Ubuntu provided an update to this library
between the time the two emc packages were built, and dpkg_shlibdeps
includes a package version requirement when it automatically generates
dependency information for shared library packages.
You can download this package from here:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy-updates/i386/libpango1.0-0/download
I believe you can also choose to ignore the error from dpkg, possibly by
supplying the "--force-depends-version" flag to dpkg when installing the
new package.
