I'm actually trying to read an analogue signal (High Voltage - say 1000VAC) being applied to my heavy motor. Do I need an ADC converter or what is the procedure?

Do you have an ADC (analog to digital converter) with an parallel port interface? I did this: http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/EMC2/serial_adc/ to get analog signals into EMC2. Are you doing something similar? ---------- Kirk http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
