I tried the eagle2hal setup in the wiki: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Eagle2HAL
and it looks like it would pretty handy, but is not quite ready for prime time, especially if you are not a regular Eagle user. It would be nice to have a way to diagram existing HAL files. Is there a plan to have a hal2eagle utility? Is there another method or application, like Inkscape, that would be easier to develop and use in the long run? If so, it would be nice to have the diagramming application be able to stand on its own, so it could be run on any (Linux) PC. I'm trying to get an idea of where more effort could be most effectively placed.
