I'm about 99% sure that is the case - Mesa uses a clever trick with tiny 
transformers to generate isolated gate drive for the MOSFETs, so it 
doesn't matter what you have on the load side.  I suspect they would 
even work with nothing but an ohmmeter connected - not many solid state 
outputs will do that.
