Steve, its conditional on a number of factors. What I typically did was to have the lab when they tested our product, to note the wireless devices were in the product and comment on testing. I also made sure I had the vendors test reports available at the time of the test. I basically let the lab recommended actions.

In some of the products I had multiple wireless devices, which impacts what actions are needed.

I also put the vendors compliance info on our DoCs with a note the product contains a device and the standards.
