Got an odd request as we delve into advanced controls for development of
bi-directional EV chargers. For instance, the newly-updated UL 3141 allows for
qualification of certain inverter-based DERs to control currents in remote
locations, like branch feeder circuits that might be overloaded by excess solar
production. We're trying to determine there's if standard or industry spec for
frequency control of PV inverters. This would be apart from the normal
qualification to IEEE 1547.1, section that mandates how a grid-interactive
inverter will perform with a scheduled frequency-watt export profile. I've
been doing this for a while, and have not heard of one, so I thought I'd ask.
