Good day, one and all!
Most of us are aware several RoHS exemptions expired
in JUL2024, particularly for lead content in glass
envelopes of components.
I came across an interesting document titled, "Study
to assess requests for 29 renewal requests
concerning one specific EEE category and two (-2-)
new exemption requests under the Directive
2011/65/EU"

In the first paragraph, there's language indicating
that when a "renewal request" is received, it can
take up to 18 months to make a decisions, AND that
the exemption is extended until a decision is made.
Further, even if a negative decision is made, the
expiration date would be 12 - 18 months from the
date of that decision.

For this list, for example, Exemption 7(c)-1 is on
the list and marked as "Valid - request for renewal"
From all of the above, it looks like the expiration
for any status in the spreadsheet marked, "Valid -
request for renewal" has not yet expired.
Prove me wrong.
