Amund There are methods under the Directive for The Commission to have the status of a Notified Body revoked, but there's not a higher authority to go to on technical matters and I would suggest it is better to confirm your approach is technically correct.
You don't mention the standard, or the mask, but the methods in ETSI standards are typically clear.
