I would agree with Dan, looks like a notation for a heatsink.

 

The pinout looks like a surface mount MOSFET so I would guess the meaning as
"requires heatsinking / thermal spreading as part of PCB structure"

 

If part of a DC/DC converter or power supply this is a good way to connect a
high dV/dt node to one plate of a capacitor! Welcome to the wonderful world
of engineering compromise - EMC or thermal performance?

I came across the eyelash-like symbol above the MOSFET in the image below,
and I am at a loss for what it represents. My searches of schematic symbol
databases has come up dry as well. Anyone know what this means?
