Here is a non-electrical compliance issue that I m looking for some assistance with,
I have a client who has a new product that has three ceiling panels - a middle section and two end sections. The middle section is not intended to be removed once assembled. As noted one installed the center panels are not to be removed until the system is decommissioned so I don't think the ergonomic requirements for SEMI S8, or the NIOSH Lifting Equation are applicable as this not repetitive work and not for service or operational personnel. These panels are part of the assembly of the product. However is there an OSHA requirement for how heavy the center panels can be (now at about 55 lbs), and how they are to be handled - 2 people, lifting device, etc.? Inputs gratefully welcome.
