Hi Everyone, Last January I delivered a paper at DesignCon on small impulse events causing accumulating damage eventually resulting in system failure.
For instance, every time a person touches a conductive object there is a small ESD event. In my paper I described a case where an ESD event of about a few % of the amplitude we usually test to causing damage after 10,000 tiny zaps, about 3 months in field use!
