What Andy is likely wondering about is that posemath https://www.nist.gov/ctl/smart-connected-systems-division/networked-control-systems-group/pose-mathematics-path-planning is a library on its own. It should be a separate Debian package and LinuxCNC should link against it. It took me a while, and I eventually figured that posemath is "maintained" together with more of rcslib at https://github.com/usnistgov/rcslib/tree/master/src/posemath and next to it is NML in https://github.com/usnistgov/rcslib/tree/master/src/cms from what I see. I would very much like the idea to redistribute rcslib (with a different name because of the revision control system, like gov-nist-rcslib or so) with Debian and as a start just have the Debian packages libposemath(-dev) and libcms/nml(-dev) crafted as packages from it.
