Rasmus' ranking of org mode sources interested me, so I tried to satisfy my curiosity is all. I hope you didn't think I was disagreeing with his decision not to be bothered using Org mode packages. I certainly understand it. I made the same decision wrt the elpa version of Org mode after struggling with mixed installations--life is too short! I do have a technical question that you or someone else on the list might be able to answer for me. When I downloaded the Babel languages from melpa just now, the elpa version of Org mode was also downloaded and installed, even though I didn't ask for it. Why is this? Can it be disabled? Must the elpa Org mode be installed and activated in order for the Org mode packages to work? All the best, Tom -- Thomas S. Dye http://www.tsdye.com
