I was using an official GNU Emacs binary for Windows (found on http://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/windows/). Anyway, switching to Cygwin Emacs does resolve the symlink problem. Thanks a lot for your answer! Best regards, Seb -- Sebastien Vauban
