I forgot to mention that this happens with GNU Emacs 24.0.91.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.6) of 2011-11-23 and the bundled org-mode which is 7.7 Also, I did a quick test with: GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.6) of 2011-10-26 Org-mode version 6.33x and I confirm that I can see the same behavior on that version to.
